LOCH NESS

It is unlikely that any visitor to this site will not have heard of the infamous Loch Ness. This stretch of fresh water is at the eastern end of the Caledonian Canal, the series of lochs that links the Atlantic Ocean to the North Sea. It owes its global notoriety to its inhabitant, the "monster", a source of years of debate as to whether or not it's existance is a myth. Aside from this, the loch itself is situated in the most beautiful countryside, and is well worth visiting for aesthetic reasons.
